We only had 1 night in Kandy so the location was perfect with wonderful views over the lake and Temple of the Tooth. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, thankyou for a great stay. 🙂

The Golden Crown Hotel is a 5-star hotel located in Ampitya, Kandy, Srilanka. Very clean, modern and stylish hotel with an amazing refreshing yet subtle scent all over. Nice swimming pool with a view on the mountain and the buffet at the restaurant has something for everyone. The staff is the highlight of this place. Kaveesha was very welcoming, helpful and accommodating. She's always available to answer my questions and share recommendations. By the end of my stay, I just wish I'd have planned to stay more

Nice views. Infinity pool clean. Staff are amazing can’t do enough for you from room cleaning to restaurant staff and reception excellent. Food breakfast choices ok filling enough to get through to dinner. Only had dinner twice not many options but enjoyed the food and service. Definitely would stay again 😁

Terrace Kandy está ubicado en Kandy, a 18 minutos a pie de Museo Kandy, y tiene alojamiento con bicicletas gratis, estacionamiento privado gratis, una terraza y un restaurante. WOW. We booked last minute for just one night, we were lucky to find the Terrace, a small, simple and incredibly peaceful place. The room was clean and spacious, overlooking the valley, good breakfast. Host Ashan is incredibly kind and helpful. Location is a 9 min tuktuk ride from the heart of Kandy (the hotel has one) which is absolutely worth it to enjoy the view and peaceful stay at Terrace Kandy. Thanks again Ashan and everyone who took care of us.

This place is amazing. The host in incredible. Beds were great. Space is amazing, many common areas which allowed to form seperate group or chill in the house freely.

The most outstanding asset of this hotel is its stuffs and their service. Mr. Bathiya and other stuffs were really attentive and helpful. When I asked about the opening hours of the museum before my departure for Sri Lanka, he even took the labour of visiting the museum in person and found out it was open on Sundays. He said the museum did not answer his call. They also advised me to dine not at a fancy and touristy restaurant but at a good restaurant frequented by local people. I could enjoy delicious local food eating among the local people. Also, I accidentally left some medicines in the room when I checked out, and Mr. Bathiya have them delivered to my next accommodation without any charge. This is an incredible show of hospitality. The location is good also. The hotel is in a quiet residential area near the lake and it is only about 10 to 15 minutes to the town centre. The room and linens were of course very clean.

Hemaka is truly the kindest person in the world – he welcomed us with cake and a mojito, always smiling, helpful, and so polite. It was an absolute pleasure to meet him! The accommodation was excellent – comfortable, with a stunning view, everything was just perfect. Highly recommended!
