We did the full day safari and it was a great experience! We saw so many amazing animals. We cannot recommend this place enough. The family is so kind and the service is excellent. The room is also very clean and comfortable with high quality Aircon.

With pool views, Tranquil Wild is located in Tanamalwila and has a restaurant, room service, snack bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. We had an exceptional stay at Tranquil Wild. The room was spotlessly clean, and the furniture was tastefully decorated. We were given a free room upgrade. The property's beautiful lake in front added to its charm. The Western and Sri Lankan food we enjoyed during our stay was outstanding. The owner of the property is very kind and personally ensures that guests are comfortable. She helped us book a Yala safari with a professional naturalist. We will definitely return. This property is a gem, and with the first-class service of the staff, there's no need to look further. We highly recommend staying at this property if you plan to visit Block 5 in Yala, as it is closer to Block 5.

Featuring lake views, Sam's Stay Buduruwagala provides accommodation with terrace, around 39 km from Demodara Nine Arch Bridge. We really enjoyed our time at Sam's Stay. The place is new and one of the nicest we have been to in Srilanka. Sam welcomed us with fresh mango juice from his garden. The next day he showed us all the fruit trees around his place, rice fields and natural pool where you can swim. We had an amazing breakfast at his restaurant. On our wish he even prepared us wood apple juice which was delicious. For a local experience of Srilanka we highly recommend Sam's Stay.

Our experience at VR Nature Cottage Cabana was truly exceptional. It is a very special and unique place, surrounded by rice fields and next to a lake, in a beautiful and peaceful setting far away from cars and crowds. The silence and connection with nature make it feel like a hidden retreat. The cabana is run by an adorable family, warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, who made our stay exquisite and truly memorable. Their care and hospitality made all the difference. We honestly believe this is a must-stay for anyone planning to spend time in this area.

Situated in Galgamuwa in the Monaragala District region, Redstone Cottage Gal Oya has a terrace and mountain views. We had the most wonderful stay in Redstone cottage. It was by far our favourite hotel in our 3 week trip around Sri Lanka. The staff anticipated our every need, the chef cooked food we loved and every meal was a highlight. Sydney has made a little slice of paradise. The jungle on the doorstop, birds and wildlife really made this stay stand out. The staff are employed from a recently displaced tribe and syndey is passionate about the local area and the people. This really stands out. Anuradha was our guide throughout and his knowledge was next level. He took us up monkey mountain, around the local reservoir and on all our safaris. His wildlife and plant knowledge as well as his calm and likeable character made the whole stay magical. We would stay again in a heartbeat and if you are thinking of booking don't hesitate.

Crystal Water Inn is set in Bibile and offers a terrace and barbecue facilities. The property features river and garden views. Perfect host. Caring and willing to help you out with everything. Very good food ( we checked out all meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner) . With a power cut the host even managed via a hotspot that we still had acces to internet. Comfy hous en bed, looking over the rice paddys. Waterfall and city close by. View towards the mountains, nicely sheltered terras. Only one cottage, i can recommend it!
