It seems there was a problem ,ith our booking so we got upgraded to a family room (instead of the budget triple room we booked). The room was so perfect : huge and high ceiling, nice beds, beautiful wooden furnitures. Big window so you can enjoy the garden with a lot of light (early morning also !! Cause the curtain are nice but not lifht proof!). The bathroom is perfectly clean, big, hot water. The food is good but expensive, if you are used to the normal srilanka price, ask before dinner to check if it's ok for you.

This is an absolutely lovely property. It is tastefully designed, every detail is considered, the rooms are clean and Big, the bathroom is finished with all needed and clean and modern (felt quite good to bé again in a level of comfort and cleaness closer to our life back home). The food is good, I particularly Liked the cinnamon tea they served as you arrive. We did the spice trail.on the property very informative. Really a great stay.

They arranged a great safari, which was one of the highlights of my trip: well organised, smooth, and truly memorable. The food was excellent, freshly prepared and generous, and the conditions of the lodge are superb: very clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained.

El Jetwing Kaduruketha - Level 1 Certified se inspira en una localidad tradicional y ofrece un lujoso complejo ecoagrícola. Es un hotel eco-friendly en medio de campos de arroz con unas vistas maravillosas. La piscina es excelente. El personal es encantador. Nos ha encantado. Los baños son sacados de un cuento de fantasia, están en el exterior. Los pequeños detalles como el anti-mosquitos natural son excelentes ( y muy eficaces). Definitivamente una estancia memorable.

Sam's Stay Buduruwagala está ubicado en Wellawaya, a 39 km de Demodara Nine Arch Bridge, y ofrece alojamiento con bicicletas gratis, estacionamiento privado gratis, un jardín y una terraza. We really enjoyed our time at Sam's Stay. The place is new and one of the nicest we have been to in Srilanka. Sam welcomed us with fresh mango juice from his garden. The next day he showed us all the fruit trees around his place, rice fields and natural pool where you can swim. We had an amazing breakfast at his restaurant. On our wish he even prepared us wood apple juice which was delicious. For a local experience of Srilanka we highly recommend Sam's Stay.

Our experience at VR Nature Cottage Cabana was truly exceptional. It is a very special and unique place, surrounded by rice fields and next to a lake, in a beautiful and peaceful setting far away from cars and crowds. The silence and connection with nature make it feel like a hidden retreat. The cabana is run by an adorable family, warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, who made our stay exquisite and truly memorable. Their care and hospitality made all the difference. We honestly believe this is a must-stay for anyone planning to spend time in this area.

Redstone Cottage Gal Oya está ubicado en Galgamuwa y tiene alojamiento con vistas a la montaña, un jardín, una terraza, un restaurante y un bar. This was honestly one of the most welcoming and thoughtful places we’ve ever stayed. From the moment we arrived, Sydney and his team looked after us so well. The chef asked what we fancied and was very accommodating. He cooked the most amazing curry, lunch and honey hoppers for breakfast (which we were introduced to and absolutely loved). They even gave us a packed lunch for our elephant boat safari, which they organised, along with a great driver. There were little extra touches that made such a different, like beers in the fridge when we arrived (and they went to get more when we ran out), a cooking class with a local family, a really interesting forest walk with an indigenous guide and when we asked if we could do some laundry they sorted it for us with no trouble at all. The cottage is in a beautiful, quiet spot with amazing Mountain View’s, a perfect place to switch off. Would highly recommend supporting this amazing project. Such a great experience 😊😊
