W sytuacji nadejścia cyklonu Pan anulował nam rezerwacje żeby mogli szybciej wyjechać, chociaż robiliśmy to z bólem serca bo to był jeden z naszych najlepszych noclegów podczas objazdu Sri lanki. Bardzo fajną dodatkową atrakcją było zobaczenie fabryki cynamonu, która znajduje się na terenie hotelu. Pokoje były bardzo czyste i przestronne. Widoki z balkonu i tarasu były niesamowite. Łazienka czysta i woda ciepła z czym bywa różnie na Sri Lance. Gorąco polecam!

The place is new and one of the nicest we have been to in Srilanka. Sam welcomed us with fresh mango juice from his garden. The next day he showed us all the fruit trees around his place, rice fields and natural pool where you can swim. We had an amazing breakfast at his restaurant. On our wish he even prepared us wood apple juice which was delicious. For a local experience of Srilanka we highly recommend Sam's Stay.

The accommodation is beautifully situated right next to rice paddies and surrounded by nature. We received a warm welcome from the family. The entire stay felt like being guests of friends. The typical Sri Lankan cuisine and the direct interaction with the host family were a special experience. Thank you so much!

We had the most wonderful stay in Redstone cottage. It was by far our favourite hotel in our 3 week trip around Sri Lanka. The staff anticipated our every need, the chef cooked food we loved and every meal was a highlight. Sydney has made a little slice of paradise. The jungle on the doorstop, birds and wildlife really made this stay stand out. The staff are employed from a recently displaced tribe and syndey is passionate about the local area and the people. This really stands out. Anuradha was our guide throughout and his knowledge was next level. He took us up monkey mountain, around the local reservoir and on all our safaris. His wildlife and plant knowledge as well as his calm and likeable character made the whole stay magical. We would stay again in a heartbeat and if you are thinking of booking don't hesitate.

Caring and willing to help you out with everything. Very good food ( we checked out all meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner) . With a power cut the host even managed via a hotspot that we still had acces to internet. Comfy hous en bed, looking over the rice paddys. Waterfall and city close by. View towards the mountains, nicely sheltered terras. Only one cottage, i can recommend it!
