There were personal touches everywhere from the greeting from Roshan before our arrival to his personally greeting us as we arrived. All the food is home cooked and traditional. The surroundings are exactly what you hope to see when you book a home stay near a wildlife reserve - very raw, beautiful jungle while still being kept clean and neat and safe.

The rooms, bathrooms, and balconies are spacious. The stairs to the 1st floor are very comfortable, with low risers. I enjoyed practicing yoga in the multi-event room, with a view out onto the ocean. The pool was appreciated, as ocean swimming is difficult. We quickly felt at home. Meals are prepared from scratch, so your personal preferences can be included. Both owners and all the staff are welcoming and helpful.

Set in a beautiful location the huts and facilities are built from locally sourced natural materials in traditional village style (by the staff). It is an absolute treat if you like simplicity and sustainable design. The staff are warm and friendly and go above and beyond. When I left some things behind they were delivered back to Negombo at no cost. Super grateful for a memorable stay. Would love to come back.
