Everything went well - the staff was more than kind - they did laundry for us when we asked, printed our plane tickets, packed breakfast for us when we went for an out of town tour.. Our room was nice - equipped with toiletries, had extra blankets, it was cozy.

Offering a restaurant, Riad Al Makan is located in the old Medina of Fez, 3 minutes' walk from the Blue Gate. Free WiFi access is available. Chouara Tanneries is 1.5 km walk away. It was authentic & the receptionist -Merry- was exceptionally friendly & helpful (printing off some few pages for a virtual meeting that I had to attend). Loved the central location in the old Fes Medina. Also this Riad’s recommendation for Tour Guide & Shuttle Driver were excellent. ALL of the service and wait staff were really good and friendly & we would return here without question if ever we had opportunity to return to Fes.

The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is very delicious. The location is close to the madrasa and the first university in the world. We booked a private day tour guide from the riad and he is like a walking encyclopedia! Very well worth every minute!
