We were planning our trip from Kotor to Zabljak and decided to stay one night in Niksic near the Ostrog Monastry. It turned out to be our best stay out of the 5 hotels we stayed at in Montenegro. Our hosts Nikola and Dragana gave us a warm welcome at their new and modern boutique hotel. Nicola drove us up and down the city centre for dinner, no taxi needed. Food in Niksic is much much cheaper than anywhere else in Montenegro. The only downside is the location in a residential area. But positive part of this is the silence and peacefulness at night. The Richmond boxspring beds were amazingly comfortable, even better than our own beds at home. We slept like babies! Wish we can order these in the Netherlands. The next morning we enjoyed a great breakfast on their new terrace outside. Best hospitality you can get in Montenegro. Definitely recommend you to experience the hospitality of this hidden gem.

During our 4days stay, everything was perfect! The host, Vladimir was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and quiet. Especially the mattress was outstanding, Very comfy! We enjoyed having breakfast in the garden every morning. Highly recommend it 👍

Great value for money. Clean, comfortable and modern. Only stayed one night but found it just perfect as a base, with good cafés and restaurants on the doorstep and just a couple of minutes walk from the center. Great proactive host.

Grahovac 1858 is a perfect quiet weekend getaway for those who prefer nature, peace and an escape from the summer heat and crowds on the coast or a bigger city! Highly recommended for a "battery recharge."
