Amazing place with a breathtaking lake view! The location is truly stunning. Waking up in the morning with the lake right in front of you is simply magical. The view is unforgettable. Our host Helena was wonderful – she gave us a full explanation about the house and the surrounding area, which was really helpful. Breakfast was delicious and served with an incredible view as well. Some reviews mentioned that the access road was bad, but in our opinion, that’s not accurate. While it’s not perfect, it’s absolutely fine and accessible for any car without any issues. On our last day, we had to leave early in the morning, and Helena came in the evening just to prepare sandwiches for us to take. That kind of care and hospitality is rare! Highly recommended – we would definitely love to come back.

Very luxurious cabin with everything you could possibly need. It felt a bit wasteful to only stay here for one night. The host was very helpful, bringing us dinner and breakfast and even giving us a lift in his 4WD up the track towards Vusanje, which is a part of the trail where it's recommended to use a vehicle if possible.

Good location as well - in walking distance both to the Plav Lake and town center, quiet and easy accessible by car. Will stay again next time when visiting Prokletije mountains

I Plav, 19 minutters gange fra Plavsjøen, ligger Guest house Erdan, som har gratis WiFi og gratis privat parkering. På Guest house Erdan er hvert av rommene utrustet med klesskap og TV (flatskjerm). Big room, everything was clean, the breakfast was very good and very much. Erdan picked me up at the busstation, he also gave me a gas cartridge, for hiking on the Peaks of the Balkans. When I came back, he also organized me a room for the night. He told me, that he is planning to sold gas cartridges in the next year!

Sustainable Samel's Cottage Hrid's lake Prokletije ligger i Plav, 16 kilometer fra Plavsjøen og 25 kilometer fra Prokletje statspark, og har en hage, en terrasse og en restaurant. Ahhhhh I loved this place so much I don't even know where to start! At some point when I realized it was an hour past Babino Polje (walking) I considered cancelling and finding something closer to town, as it was our last night on the Peaks of the Balkans trek. I knew we'd be tired and I thought it might be easier to stay somewhere right in the village. But I read some reviews and looked again at the photos online and decided to keep the reservation. I am SO glad that I did. This was by far our favorite accommodation of the whole trek, ten days hiking in Montenegro, Albania and Kosovo. The atmosphere was just amazing, absolutely beautiful views in every direction. Alen was an excellent and hospitable host and speaks perfect English. He lived in South Carolina and has worked in all aspects hospitality and it shows. My husband and I are on our honeymoon and Alen set us up for dinner by ourselves above the other tables with a big stump for our personal table. It was honestly so sweet and romantic, and the food was incredible! Everything homemade and just delicious. We had a tiny cabin with no electricity and honestly it was just perfect for us. You can charge devices at a communal station. We loved watching the sunset over the mountains from the two swinging hammock chairs with cows wandering by. Later Alen made a bonfire and it was so lovely to sit by the fire and drink some wine and chat with other hikers. I can't say enough positive things about the cottages! Awesome experience. 🥰❤️

Very nice house overlooking the lake and magnificent Accursed Mountains Natl Park. Super clean and easy walking distance to town and shops. Spacious and very well stocked. Would be great for a group or family.

Very kind host with excellent communication. Beautiful location, but a 20 min walk from Plav (as shown and as known when booked). Rooms quite clean and comfortable.
