The Rangoon Hotel is in a prime location in Yangon, and features a terrace, free WiFi and a bar. Location, near Junction Center (a supermarket) the vibes of the area the sidewalk market, and peaceful area. The staff was great so polite, kind, and respectful and the service was superb. The room exceeds my expectations spacious, and luxurious, and smells fresh and clean. The Pier Bar in the rooftop, its an open air with a great city and pier view. I will come back again and I highly recommend The Rangoon Hotel a place to stay in Yangon. I would like to thank all the staff for your amazing kind and warm hospitality.

I read a lot of reviews when selecting hotels on booking.com but rarely do I provide a review myself. This is absolutely the place to stay in Yangon. The hotel is one of the most beautiful and well appointed hotels I’ve ever stayed in - it rivals beautiful 5 star hotels in London or New York but at a fraction of the price. But the real stand out is the staff - they made us feel safe, secure, always friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Myanmar has significant challenges with civil unrest and yet this hotel - amid great difficulty - stays open and provides an exceptional, safe and friendly experience. So many other large international hotels have shut - it’s a testament to the staff and owners this hotel remains open and running in such a professional way. Breakfast was delicious and we also had lunch and dinner at the hotel - all three I can recommend. I also tried the spa and had a Burma massage and it was great. We loved Yangon and we loved this hotel!
