But everything exceeded our expectations. We stayed twice at this hotel in 10 days, in different rooms. The hotel is very clean, comfortable, all the staff are very nice, and the food from their restaurant is good, but a little pricey.

He viajado con silla de ruedas y el baño la verdad que no tenía ninguna habitación con baño adaptado para silla de ruedas pero el personal nos ha ayudado en todo lo que hemos necesitado, ha sido muy atento y amable! Set within the historic 1920 Steel Brothers building, Yangon Excelsior is an award winning five star hotel in downtown Yangon. This is a superb 5 star hotel. Everthing was perfect. You can expect high quality in every aspect. I would definately stay again.

Exceptionally beautiful hotel, the decorations are amazing and pure joy to be around! The staff is helpful, the breakfast was pretty good. The room is spacious enough, the beds are soft, there is a TV in the room, all the utensils you need. You can find several restaurants, a little market, and a spa salon nearby.

We had a truly wonderful stay at The Strand which is a rare place that feels like a living piece of history while still offering every modern comfort. The service was outstanding throughout — especially the café team and Nai Min Tho, who were incredibly attentive to our vegan and vegetarian needs. We also loved spending time at the Sarkies Bar, where the cocktails and atmosphere were excellent. Also the Reception team Pwint, Myat and Hana were very attentive. And everywhere we felt pampered and very well taken care of. We travel a lot, but this stay was a real highlight, and we would wholeheartedly recommend The Strand to anyone visiting Yangon.

Mercure Yangon Kaba Aye is centrally located along Kaba Aye Pagoda Road leading to Inya Lake and just a 15-minute drive from Yangon International Airport and Shwedagon Pagoda. Exceptionally good experience staying there. From the friendly reception to the comfortable room. Very good room service and restaurant. A lovely atmosphere in the hotel.
