The Rangoon Hotel is in a prime location in Yangon, and features a terrace, free WiFi and a bar. The hotel is modern and fairly reflects Western standards. The room is very spacious with a large bathroom. The staff is extremely kind and always smiling; they helped me book the bus to Bagan and arranged for an excellent local guide to explore Yangon. The hotel's location is good; within walking distance, there's also a shopping center with a large supermarket in case you need to do some shopping. The hotel restaurant, located on a beautiful rooftop terrace, offers a good selection of dishes at reasonable prices. I will definitely book this hotel again for my last few days in Myanmar before my flight back to Italy.

Special thanks to the front desk for the room upgrade and to the breakfast room staff who bought soy milk for me because I am allergic to regular milk. They were very kind and attentive.
