We had a truly wonderful stay at The Strand which is a rare place that feels like a living piece of history while still offering every modern comfort. The service was outstanding throughout — especially the café team and Nai Min Tho, who were incredibly attentive to our vegan and vegetarian needs. We also loved spending time at the Sarkies Bar, where the cocktails and atmosphere were excellent. Also the Reception team Pwint, Myat and Hana were very attentive. And everywhere we felt pampered and very well taken care of. We travel a lot, but this stay was a real highlight, and we would wholeheartedly recommend The Strand to anyone visiting Yangon.

The hotel staff speaks english and they are very friendly and helpful. The hotel breakfast offers Mynamar specialities. and the Hotel resturant is on the 15th floor and the views from above is really beautiful. Also the hotel is located in a very prime location and not too far from many attractions. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
