We had an amazing stay at this 4-star hotel, and it was a fantastic value for money, likely thanks to visiting during the off-season. The highlight of our mornings was the incredible breakfast buffet – there was an impressive variety of options to choose from, and the fresh juice was a perfect touch to start the day. The room was equally delightful. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the pillow menu was a luxurious bonus that ensured a perfect night’s sleep. One of the best parts of our stay was the spa facilities. We visited the sauna every day, and it was absolutely spotless and relaxing. The overall experience was top-notch, and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Malta!

We spent three days at Central Guest House in Valletta, Malta, for our 29th wedding anniversary, and it was a truly enjoyable experience (19–22/12/2025). Management and Staff The management by Rodianne is what makes this Guest House truly special. Immediately after booking on Booking.com, communication was excellent, clear, and attentive, which also allowed me to organize a surprise for my wife with flowers and wine, thanks to Rodianne’s collaboration (she didn’t even want to accept payment for the purchase, though she kindly accepted a token for the trouble). In addition, Rodianne surprised us with a box of chocolates and a beautiful anniversary greeting card—an extremely thoughtful gesture. It is clear that Rodianne is an excellent employer, as the staff carry out their work with joy and serenity. Everyone is always ready to offer more than expected, not only through actions but also with a positive, friendly, and warm attitude—the housekeepers, cooks, and maintenance staff. They interacted with us modestly, never making us feel like a burden or implying they expected a tip. Breakfast Breakfast is truly abundant and allows you to explore Malta for 4–6 hours without needing to stop for lunch. Although the menu is not à la carte, there are several fixed options that are more than sufficient, of excellent quality, and prepared fresh. If you have an early check-out, a generous takeaway package is also provided. Location In our opinion, the location is one of the best possible. The area is extremely quiet, away from noise, bars, clubs, and nightlife, while still being well connected to public transport via simple daily or weekly passes. The bus station is only a few minutes’ walk from the property, and other stops are less than 10 minutes away. The center of Valletta can be reached on foot in about 20 minutes, and the seafront promenade is only 10–12 minutes away.

From the very beginning, we felt very welcomed, and the staff was extremely attentive and always ready to accommodate every request and wish we had. A special thank you to Maria, who made our daughter’s celebration truly unforgettable. She took care of every detail with great dedication and professionalism, making the occasion very special for our family. The food was delicious and very varied, offering plenty of options and high-quality choices throughout our stay. The pool was at a perfect temperature, the rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the Italian lady Maria was always kind, friendly, and happy to engage in conversation or offer help whenever needed. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that we highly recommend, and we would gladly return again.

Palazzo Castagna Boutique Hotel oferece piscina ao ar livre com funcionamento sazonal, jardim, terraço e restaurante em Hal Ghaxiak. Palazzo Castagna was an unexpected gem. We stayed here due to proximity to airport, but found a beautiful hotel offering the charm of an old building with modern amenities. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The kitchen staff gladly accommodated dietary restrictions (gluten) as well as our very tight timeframe for breakfast. One item of note, there are no restaurants close by... not an issue for us since we were here 1 night and the onsite dining was very good.
