Boasting a garden, Kuvira River Camp is set in Divundu and also provides a terrace and a bar. Guests can enjoy river views. All guest rooms at the hotel come with a seating area. This lodge is located on the banks of the Kavango River, along the route toward Botswana just before entering the Caprivi Strip. That’s why we stayed here twice: once on the way to Botswana and again on our return journey. The lodge offers various levels of comfort, including private cottages and well-equipped tents. We tried both options, and each was comfortable and enjoyable. In every case, there’s a special feeling of being close to nature. In the evenings, after dinner, the staff lights a campfire where guests can relax in the unique atmosphere. The lodge also offers boat tours on the Kavango River, perfect for watching the sunset and encountering hippos. This was truly one of the most unforgettable evenings of our entire trip. The food deserves special mention. The restaurant terrace is beautifully designed, and the dinner we had there was probably the best of our entire journey.

Located in Ngoma, Chobe River Camp provides accommodation with a year-round outdoor pool, free WiFi, a garden and a terrace. There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and free toiletries.... Very nice completely renovated lodge. Staff is very friendly and highly competent. Excellent food in the lodge restaurant. River Cruises along the Chobe River Front with very motivated guides are highly recommended. Interesting bird life in the lodge area.

Set on the banks of the Okavango River, Shametu River Lodge offers views of the Popa Falls and is 6.5 km from Divundu. Free private parking is available on site. Excellent location for excursions into the surrounding National Parks and for a visit to the Popa Falls. Very comfortable large rooms.

These tents feature all feature verandas with views of the Okavango River. Each tent includes wooden flooring and a wardrobe. They also have a mosquito net and a bathroom. Of all the lodges we stayed at in Namibia, Ralf’s Lodge @Ndhovu was hands-down, and by far the best, most authentic, most hospitable, biggest bang for the buck! What makes a huge difference as we’ve discovered with all of our lodges, are those that are owner occupied, always give you much better service, and that is what you will find here! Also, the fact that they have two offerings waterside in essentially house, booths, are the only ones on the Kavango River that offered this amenity. We were in River side one, an outside our deck on the water, was a bloat of hippos numbering probably a couple dozen! What a joy, and treat watching this bloat frolic in the water and do their thing until 10 AM more or less, when they headed to the opposite side of the river, to graze and sunbathe, always returning an hour or so before dusk, to entertain us once again! The vibe is very relaxed at this camp, which makes a huge difference. It’s easy to mingle with other guests, make friends, enjoy Rolf’s staff, and his company, especially the fire pit after dinner each night!

Set in Katima Mulilo, Miláns Bed and Breakfast offers accommodation with a terrace. The bed and breakfast offers rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. Rooms were excellent, beautifully decorated .Breakfast was great, with a wide choice. The B&B’s ambiance was lovely. Stefan, our host was exceptional going beyond what is expected of a good host. If it were possible I would give Milan’s 6 out of 5 stars.

Featuring a terrace, Nyime Safari Lodge Campsite provides accommodation in Divundu. Providing complimentary private parking, the campground is 49 km from Krokovango Crocodile Farm. The campsites are huge with amazing views and brand new ablution blocks. The main lodge and restaurant is spectacular with good food and attentive service. There are lots of game tracks for exploring on your own with a 4x4 just outside of the campsite boundry.

Providing river views, Zambezi Mubala Lodge in Katima Mulilo provides accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. Excellent! Hileni and Harrison delivered the best service

With river views, Ichingo Chobe River Lodge by Mantis is set in Punga and has a restaurant, free shuttle service, bar, garden, sun terrace and outdoor fireplace. Fabulous, friendly and efficient staff, especially our guides Robert and Nicholas who were very knowledgeable regarding the wildlife, boat handling and fishing. The food was first class and the river location very private and special.

Overlooking the Okavango River, Divava Okavango Lodge & Spa is located 1 km away from the Popa Falls in the Bagani area. The lodge boasts a splash pool, a restaurant and wellness facilities. Perfect for digital detoxing, no wifi

Very friendly an highly competent staff. Excellent food at the restaurant. Perfect base for excursions in the surrounding national parks.
