Featuring mountain views, Lodge Damaraland in Khorixas features accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. Spacious room with nature view, well equipped, good fridge and shower. Mosquito net around the bed was superb. The lodge had excellent buffet food with fresh bbq. Pool was very nice and relaxing. It is managed by the same group as Olive Grove in Windhoek, yet the lodge is much larger.

Set in Twyfelfontein, 40 km from Petrified Forest Khorixas, Camp Kipwe offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. I had an amazing time with amazing staff in camp kipwe! They made me feel welcome 🙏🏾 from the time I got out from the car I was greeted by Kan and David with a cold towel. Everyone at the restaurant was super nice. The view from every spot was stunning. The house keeping team was great , they came and did some touch ups in the evening. Although the toilet was outdoor but I had full privacy, no one can really look into the toilet. Looking forward to staying there again soon.

Exceptional property in a beautiful setting. We had the luxury room with private pool and terrace to enjoy drinks and the sunset. Communal pool was also great overlooking the landscape. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Great lookout point for the sunset - just wish we had booked another night!

Incredible sunset bar at top of hill Magnificent setting at the base of giant boulders Beautiful camp, beautiful decor Two pools, both gorgeous Multiple seating areas Incredibly stylish akin to 5 star resorts Amazing game drive with Alvin to see the desert elephants and some of the spectacular views of Damaraland. He went out of his way to ensure that we had a great, fun experience.

Set in Kaneb Pos, Orpheus Inn Camping offers accommodation with a year-round outdoor pool and a garden. There is an outdoor fireplace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. This was our favourite campsite during our 2-week roadtrip in Namibia. The location is very peaceful and safe. The space is huge, a large private plot with a bathroom, a toilette, an outdoor dishwashing area and a BBQ area. Everything was crystal clear, spacious, cozy, therevwasbhot water every time. We could buy delicious meat from the owners and grilled it on the fire - it was great :) The son of the owner was super kind and helpful. I fully recommend this campsite, especially for those on a roadtrip with a tented car. This clean and peaceful location was such a relief after the other crowded campsites.

The family who run this place are adorable & you feel like family by the time you leave! It is a rest stop cafe on the C39 road to Khorixas with 2 units behind the cafe. They are equipped with twin beds, AC, a fridge & kettle plus an en-suite shower room. All clean & comfortable. Convenient for visiting the Petrified Forest but an hour from Twyfelfontein. We took our own breakfast stuff but Letty cooked a simple supper for us. We did a walk up to the hills behind behind their farm with Eddy & the Grandchildren which was incredible & the views & sunset amazing. If you are looking for a simple affordable place to stay in the area this is perfect & Letty, Eddy, Sanchez & Tia are so warm, friendly & accommodating. We will never forget them & hope to return.
