Surrounded by granite outcrops and with stunning views and roaming wildlife, Desert Quiver Camp offers modern self-catering accommodation, located just 5 km away from the entrance gate to Sossusvlei. The place was in the best possible location! The pool and bar area were great! It is very close to the entrance gate of Soussesvlei, and the cottage was clean and spacious. The bed was large and super comfy, and the staff were very friendly and polite. Overall, a great stay!

Camp Gecko is one of the best memories of our trip! The setting of the large, comfortable tents in the quiet of the desert; the fantastic dinner braai packs with venison steak, salad, home-made bread and even a dessert (as we were not set up for camping, we were given crockery to use for our meal); the swim in the fish pond/pool with mountains in the background; the long shared breakfast table, where we met interesting fellow travellers. The owner Anna and Ernst at reception, who were both lovely, and the beer in the fridge there which was always cold :). We are seriously considering going back there for a longer stay!

Located on the C19, We Kebi Safari Lodge offers accommodation 88 km west of Maltahohe in the Hardap Region. This property offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. What a pleasant surprise this gem of a lodge is! My kids and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The individual huts were clean, spacious, and cozy. The best part was seeing all the animals so close! We could have sat on the deck all day just watching them come and go. The staff was always smiling and very hospitable. They were helpful answering all of our questions and directing us to the dunes in Sossusvlei and Swakopmund. This was the perfect relaxing escape we needed, away from the busy city life of Luanda, Angola!

With mountain views, Tsauchab River Camp is situated in Sesriem and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. The food and property were stunning. The accommodation was really nice and the staff were excellent. The dinners were better than the Michelin Star places we’ve eaten at in Europe. The walks were beautiful.
