We camped at ‘Shrike’ and loved it, particularly the imaginative outdoor facilities. It is just an hour from the gate as Sesriem and it is preferable to camp at this idyllic spot rather than the bland and busy camps at the gate. We also availed of a lovely home cooked farm dinner on one of the evenings. A perfect camping spot.

We were on our honeymoon, and they surprised us with a lovely handwritten card in the room — such a thoughtful gesture that shows how much they care about the little details. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Don’t miss it! And at night, the sky full of stars is just magical.

The staff was very great, lovely very rooms and common places .The accommodation was beautiful and had a lot of animals to see while you have your breakfast and dinner and the pool side.
