Surrounded by granite outcrops and with stunning views and roaming wildlife, Desert Quiver Camp offers modern self-catering accommodation, located just 5 km away from the entrance gate to Sossusvlei. Very big, clean rooms. Rooms are at a good distance from each other which feels very private. We ordered the braai package (a lot of choice and you can choose what you want) and enjoyed making our own BBQ. Swimming pool is also really nice. Location is very close to the gate.

Nastanitev Tsauchab River Camp Campsite se nahaja v mestu Sesriem in ponuja dostop do vrta s teraso. Was very secluded, you had your own area, toilet and shower. We stayed at the ‘pigeonhole’ and it was great. Very well looked after, good all around!

Amazing location in nature, with an outstanding unblocked view facing the hills. We felt very welcome at the reception. Nice to refresh at the pool and stroll at the campsite, and enjoy the sunset. After a challenging night at Sesriem Campsite (no choice because we wanted to go on dunes in the morning).. Coming to Little Sossus was the best choice we did, it is a real hidden gem.

Nastanitev Camp Gecko - PRIVATE NATURE RESERVE; TENTED CAMP AND CAMPSITE se nahaja v mestu Solitaire in nudi vrt, teraso, možnost peke na žaru ter razgled na gore. Camp Gecko is one of the best memories of our trip! The setting of the large, comfortable tents in the quiet of the desert; the fantastic dinner braai packs with venison steak, salad, home-made bread and even a dessert (as we were not set up for camping, we were given crockery to use for our meal); the swim in the fish pond/pool with mountains in the background; the long shared breakfast table, where we met interesting fellow travellers. The owner Anna and Ernst at reception, who were both lovely, and the beer in the fridge there which was always cold :). We are seriously considering going back there for a longer stay!

Desert Hills Lodge is situated 35.9 km from the Sossusvlei and Sesriem section of the Namib Naukluft National Park. Offering a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a restaurant.... Such an amazing place to stay. From the room, to the service to the food. Everything was flawless. I will be back to stay again

The food was outstanding—thoughtfully prepared, delicious, and easily some of the best meals we had on our trip. Every meal felt like a highlight. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the staff. Everyone was unbelievably warm, friendly, and accommodating, making us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. The excursions were fantastic, and a special shout-out to our guide Wakie Wakie, who was absolutely phenomenal—knowledgeable, engaging, and a joy to spend time with. His tours made the experience even more memorable. Highly, highly recommend Desert Homestead Lodge if you’re traveling to Sossusvlei. It’s the perfect blend of comfort, authenticity, and unforgettable desert magic.

Located on the C19, We Kebi Safari Lodge offers accommodation 88 km west of Maltahohe in the Hardap Region. This property offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. The location of the lodge is amazing! Watching the animals come to the waterhole is also really special.

The owner was very friendly and welcoming, and also provided us with a hiking paths, one also for sunset watching. Being in the middle of nothing is great for star gazing.
