A huge, well equipped room, a comfy bed and a warm shower. Everything very clean. Very friendly and welcoming hosts, who have the best trip advices and are helpful with everything needed. They speak Spanish, English and French. I enjoyed my stay there and would highly recommend it.

We happened upon Gilbert’s beautiful home by accident. We had originally expected to stay in Esterli but all decent hotels were full due to a convention.. SERENDIPITY !! because this place is awesome . First and foremost the whole place is so tranquil .. a real slice of country paradise.. with a little river running through it .. then let’s just move on to the beautiful design of his home and guest accommodation.. It has been designed by someone with no formal training just an eye for detail and tremendous skill.. loads of naturally resourced wood carved by local artisans , makes this temporary home so fabulous. It’s just beautiful. A lovely comfortable big double bed , air con if you need it (we didn’t even need a fan as the situation in the forest is so cool - not just temperature wise ! .. add to that a magnificent hot tub in the bathroom.. be patient.. turn it in when you arrive it takes a few hours but is fhe only bath I’ve had in Nica in a month and was wonderful.. Last but by NO MEANS least .. in fact probably above all else is Gilbert’s food. PLEASE don’t waste money in restaurants because I promise you that nothing will compare to what Gilbert can produce from the natural ingredients surrounding his home .. we have travelled throughout NICA for a month .. we are lucky enough not to be on a tight budget.. but NOTHING has compared to Gilbert’s food .. unfortunately a health condition prevents me from eating 10- 12 mouthfuls .. normally I’m happy as this keeps my weight good .. this time it made me wish so much I could eat more ..

The hospitality of Thierry and Sylvia are the best we have experienced during our holiday. The room is clean and big enough. The pizza's they make are delicious. we stayed 3 days and we ate 3 pizza's. They can arrange a trip to SOMOTO canyon. highly recommended !! You can also rent a scooter with them If you have any question they help you. You can see they love Their guesthouse and really the do everything to make you feel at home. Thierry brought us to bus at 7 am Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. You made our holiday so nice.
