We loved our stay at Catalinas and Antonio’s beautiful lodge. It’s a very nice atmosphere, the pool area is amazing and shady and the pool very clean. Also the food was delicious. Cooked with love and fresh ingredients. We stayed in one house up- and downstairs with the family. The rooms where special with the round design and decorated lovely. Warm water, AC, all functioned well. You can choose between different options for the included breakfast. Also they have very tasty selfmade bread and banana bread. We will definitely come back.

Situated in Las Peñitas, a few steps from Las Peñitas Beach, El Belga Loco features accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a garden. The entire staff was friendly and helpful, always greeted us with a smile during our 10 day stay. The owner Silvana was an amazing hostess, quick.to.offer tips for dining out, day trips. Etc. She organized our transportation and a tour of the Juan Venado Nature Preserve. The entire venue was always spotless, the room was just right and comfortable and a good price for the room, food and drinks. We enjoyed the quiet relaxing atmosphere and gazing at the ocean every day.

Featuring free WiFi in all areas, a restaurant and a year-round outdoor pool, Hotel El Convento is located 5 minutes’ walk from León Cathedral in the city centre. The courtyard garden, hallways, sitting areas and pool are all inviting with plenty of art and antiques. Service is excellent starting with reception through to the restaurant and housekeeping. Our courtyard-facing room was spacious, comfortable and well-appointed. Breakfast overlooking the courtyard garden is good. The hotel is situated in the center of town just steps away from Leon’s many interesting sites and good restaurants.

Hostal Casa Anita is situated in León and features a garden and a shared lounge. If you don't like to stay in one of those numerous and always nearly fully booked fancy backpacker hostels in town this is a really nice alternative. Super quiet and very clean and tidy place. Alejandro, the owner, does everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible, super friendly, sympathic and attentive person. There is a kitchen you can use, free coffee in the morning. It's not really a hostal, much more like an AirBnB guesthouse. Alejandro lives there in a very safe Gated Community and rents 2 rooms in his house which is really cozy and nice decorated and really all super clean and well maintained. The center of Leon is 3km away, 15min ride on the bike/5min taxi drive. Fast WiFi. Good equiped kitchen. Also big living room to hang out on the sofa. Super clean shower and toilet. We loved our stay and regreted that we not stayed longer afterwards.
