Facing the seafront in Altagracia, La Sirenita - Ometepe has a garden and a bar. The property features mountain and lake views, and is 6.2 km from Maderas Volcano. Secluded and peaceful. Our bungalow was right on the water where my wife and I watched the sunset from our bed. The area is lush and tropical with several species of plants and fruit trees. Great bird and duck watching. There's a bar here and a kitchen for preparing food. There is power and wifi. All our needs were met and we highly recommend. Perfect place for nature enthusiasts.

Set in Moyogalpa, Ometepe House offers accommodation with a patio and kitchen. The property has pool and garden views. Everyone was so kind... I stayed for 4 days and I love the privacy and all rooms were cleaned.

The host was extremely helpful and she even took me in her motorbike at night both ways in the middle of the night to a laundry placeacross the island just to save me the hassle of going by bus in the morning

Hospedaje Soma has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Moyogalpa. We loved everything. The standard rooms were just upgraded from fan to aircon. The food in the restaurant was really good and the prices low. Such a wonderful place and we give our highest recommendation.

This was like a fairy tale place. Very close to the lake in Ometepe island the owner has created with his own hands an amazing place. Very helpful owner that provide clear instruction how to get there!

Situated in Balgue, Ananda Guesthouse features accommodation with seating area. The property has lake and garden views, and is 12 km from Maderas Volcano. Best housing of our trip. Great hosts, don't hesitate to tell them about any doubts you might have about anything on the island. Very nice room, perfectly clean. Great garden with a beautiful view (and we could spot howler monkeys). Very good breakfast. Don't hesitate to rent a scooter (if you already drove any: the path to the hotel can be tricky if you are inexperienced) or an ATV to go around the island. We recommend the sunset at "Comedor Christin", the kayak tour at Playa mangos (more a restaurant than a beach) and a quiet and chill time at Ojo de Agua, all easily accessible from the guesthouse.

Featuring mountain views, El Güis hostel provides accommodation with patio, around 12 km from Maderas Volcano. There is an on-site restaurant and free private parking. This was easily one of the best hostels if have stayed at. The host family is extremly welcoming and organizes everything you could want (taxi, bikerental, kayaktour) at good prices. The room was cleaned every day and we were given fresh towels daily as well. The breakfast (can only recommend adding that) is delicious and filling. There was a hiccup with the communication via booking.com (it had overbooked the room and when we got there a solution was already provided. I cannot overstate how nice and generous the hostess Odelba and her family was. Jutst thank you for making our stay this wonderful!

La Urraca Loca Hostel has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Balgue. Featuring barbecue facilities, the property is located within 12 km of Maderas Volcano. We had an amazing stay at La Urraca Loca. The location on the island is perfect for most activities. The hostel is an oasis of beautiful plants and the rooms are great. Also Daniel is very helpful and attentive. I’ve recommended this hostel to everyone who visits Ometepe since it is probably my favorite on in my two months in Central-America. Also shoutout to the lovely kitten Gnocchi (such a good name.. ;))

With lake views, Finca Mystica is situated in Ometepe and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. Finca mystica is amazing! The place is wonderful and the staff is so nice. I felt really welcomed and I'll definitely go back again 100 times more. Everything is really clean, lots of nature, many fruit trees 💗 Plus: I got sick from the journey and they worried about me, they even got me liquid oral rehydration salts (suero), so thankful for that.
