Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, Utsikten is situated in Gjesvær. This recently renovated villa features a building dating back to 2021, which is 41 km from the The North Cape. Peaceful and quiet on the water. What amazing view from inside and outside this modern renovated rorbuer. There’s a wrap around deck too with seating to enjoy the water views. Hosts were very friendly and you can order food at their restaurant next door. Great base to hike and explore.

I recently stayed at this hotel on the Alta River with my family and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by friendly and welcoming staff like Nicholas, Margret, Tonje, Josh, and Maya who went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel is situated in a beautiful location, with stunning views of the river and surrounding wilderness. The facilities at the hotel are top-notch, with everything we needed to relax and unwind after a day of outdoor activities. We particularly enjoyed the sauna and hot tub, which were perfect for soothing sore muscles. The food at the hotel was also excellent, with a variety of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We appreciated the effort put into accommodating our dietary needs and preferences. What really set this hotel apart, however, was the attention paid to families with children. The staff were incredibly friendly and patient with our kids, and went above and beyond to make them feel welcome. They provided extra snow suits and boots for the kids, which was very helpful, and even had a special menu with kid-friendly options. Our children loved playing in the snow and exploring the nearby forest, and we felt completely at ease knowing they were safe and happy. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel on the Alta River for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway in Norway. The staff, facilities, and location are all top-notch, and the attention paid to families with children really made our stay special. We hope to return someday and experience it all again!

Varangertunet bed & breakfast is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in Jakobselv, where guests can make the most of its ski-to-door access and garden. Wonderful host, great room with stunning fjord view. Breakfast is excellent. The best stay I had in Norway. Highly recommended

Situated in Alta, within 5.9 km of The Rock art of Alta, GLØD Aurora Canvas Dome offers accommodation with air conditioning. Dome was fabulous, breakfast and staff were excellent and accommodating, a wonderful stay !

Located in Alta, 23 km from The Rock art of Alta, Alten Lodge features accommodation with free WiFi, a garden with a terrace, and access to a sauna. I really liked the house. Everything we needed was there. Enough space for 4 people. The surroundings and the view were beautiful. Our family is very satisfied!
