There’s a wrap around deck too with seating to enjoy the water views. Hosts were very friendly and you can order food at their restaurant next door. Great base to hike and explore.

I used the room with the double bed, which is going to the back side of the house, very quiet. To have a washing machine and a dryer is great. I spent a rest day there on my long distance hike, and I felt absolutely like home. Possibility to make a cosy fire in the oven. The kitchen was very well equipped. I would absolutely stay here again!

Best activity for our Norway trip: dog sledding on the first snows of the season.

The house is lovely, the breakfast huge, the coffee yummy, and the hosts so welcoming. It's also a gorgeous spot on the bend of the river. Quiet with birds chirping away. Goldin feels like a home and would be a great spot for a family to stay.

Rustic cabin with wood stove, wood burning sauna, beautiful views, well equipped kitchen. I enjoyed getting a tour of the hosts beautiful Norwegian elk hounds and Alaskan malamutes. There’s even a bbq hut but we didn’t use it. Friendly hosts and lots of peace and quiet.
