Set within 5 minutes’ drive of Hovden Ski Centre & Water Park, Hovdestøylen offers rooms and self-catering apartments with free WiFi, flat-screen TVs and sofas. Beautiful setting on a river. Spacious, well-appointed room that took into account every detail for a comfortable stay. We had dinner as well as breakfast at the hotel and both were excellent.

Hovden Høyfjellsenter is located in central Hovden, 800 metres from Hovden Ski Centre. All cottages include a fully equipped kitchen and a private terrace. WiFi is free in public areas. Excellent location, helpful and friendly staff, beautiful nature. Really, really big cottage. Floor heating and private sauna.

These cottages are located in Rysstad village in the Setesdal Valley. All feature wooden interiors, a well-equipped kitchen. Brokke Alpine Centre is a 10-minute drive away. The cabin was right next to the river and the mountains, the view from the couch in the livingroom was perfect. Even though the complex has many cabins/camping spots and it was high season, you could have the feeling of being alone looking at the river and mountains from you window because of the well-thought position of the cabins. It was a great place to be with a small kid with everything so close (little beach, canoe renting, playground, restaurant, etc) The staff was also very friendly! We had a great holiday here, thanks and hopefully we will be coming back!

Amid the mountains and waterfalls of Aust-Agder, Sølvgarden Hotel is quietly situated in the renowned Setesdal Valley. It offers an on-site gift shop. Fantastic restaurant with wonderful local fare - moose, local trout (best I have ever had). Attentive staff, great sitting areas for relaxing this is a luxury facility.

Located by the Byglandsfjord, this hotel offers a private swimming area, terrace and boat rentals. Wi-Fi and parking are free at Revsnes Hotel. Fantastic breakfast included for early or late starters. Had a lovely buffet dinner the night we arrived and cold beer. Tea/coffee facilities available in foyer and room. Games room with many games, and large public lounge room. Interesting Norwegian historical items scattered throughout the hotel. Norwegian country decor. Very quiet at night. Lovely pier to sit over fjord at night.
