Located in Bocas del Toro, a few steps from Bluff, S Boutique Hotel provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. Althought S Boutique Hotel wasn't in our plans, we we're beyond glad to experience it. We had a disappointing AirBnB nearby for two nights, which we ended up cancelling, leaving a day early. In this light, we booked S Boutique Hotel and messaged them, letting them know our situation and see if we could at least leave our bags and wait around before check-in. We made it to S around 9am. The first thing that called our attention was the thoughtfulness in design, respecting the natural elements, showcasing beautifully arranged wood, which dominates the landscape, supported by elegantly exposed concrete, all encompassed by the lush greenery around Isla Colon, with tasteful touches of glass, white contrasting pool chair sets, black painted bamboo dividers, etc. But the most striking aspect of S was the warm smile and professional behaviour of Jean. He immediately made us feel welcome, offering us coffee (which, again, comes in beautiful and thoughtful tableware) and check-in us smoothly. His conduct is one of competence, politeness, mixed with gentleness and friendliness, but most noticeably, humbleness and unpretentious, a rare combination we did not encounter much in Panama. Since we didn't had data, we couldn't see that Jean already had replied regarding our bags, reiterating us that the room was ready and just after our coffee, he guided us to it. The room follows the same natural theme. Concrete, white, wood, glass, elegant details in wicker. A citrussy essential oil hit us softly upong entering our room, enhancing our stay even further. Late at night, for some reason, water wasn't coming from the shower. I went down to ask Jean, which, along one of the owners, immediately went and fixed the issue in a matter of minutes. Again, the effectiveness in problem solving along with professionality in the way everyone at S carry themselves speaks highly of not just the Hotel, but the ideas, values and passions that had led this hotel to be made.

Located in Isla Colón, Akwaba Lodge Island Boutique Hotel offers beachfront accommodation 1.6 km from Red Frog and provides various facilities, such as a garden, a bar and a shared lounge. Akwaba lodge is located at the middle of Isla Solarte about a 10 minute boat ride ($10/person) from Bocas del Toro. It is on a hill overlooking the water and Isla Bastimentos Breakfast is included in your stay. Lunch dinner and beverages are available at a very reasonable price. The lodge is an eco style lodge surrounded by jungle. Though there are no hiking trails through the jungle you are serenaded by the sounds of birds. Kayaks, SUP and snorkeling equipment is available for your use. Your host and their children are wonderful and will do anything to make your stay a pleasant and wonderful experience. Things to know, the lodge is off the grid with good WiFi and does not have AC, but we were comfortable with our open windows and ceiling fan. The lodge accepts credit cards, but tours and water taxis are cash only so bring US dollars. Side trips to Red Frog Beach and Green Acres Chocolate are a must. Pack insect repellent and anti-itch cream.

Roam Yoga & Wellness Lodge in Bocas del Toro has 4-star accommodation with a garden, a terrace and a restaurant. The accommodation features a shared kitchen, and luggage storage for guests. This lodge is a hidden treasure of Bocas del Toro. It is situated on beautiful Isla Solarte, a bit away from parties and resorts, which is a good thing, because it allows you to feel connected with the beautiful island and the wonderful jungle surrounding this lodge. Prepare for total immersion in nature while sleeping in beautiful bungalows equipped with nets preventing any insects from biting you, while still experiencing the immersion. This lodge is still well-connected with a water taxi to other islands, so you will spend your day discovering wonderful beaches while meditating with birds and other animals during the rest of the day. This lodge also has a restaurant preparing top meals, so you won't need to jump to water taxi to Bocas Town just to eat something. Their meals are top quality and very original. There is a small area of sea reserved for snorkeling and paddle-boarding, with equipment to be rented for free. Amazing! This lodge is run by Meghan and Ryan; they are very friendly and helpful, and you will love them. They will provide all the hints and tips you may need. This lodge is a great fit for anyone who likes yoga and meditation (group yoga lessons on site).

Located just 1.3 km from Y Griega Beach, La Luciernaga Big Creek features accommodation in Bocas del Toro with access to a garden, barbecue facilities, as well as a shared kitchen. Amazing stay, nice big rooms, outstanding breakfast!! And over all the kindness of the family that host us!! You're amazing guys!

Located in Bocas del Toro, 1.1 km from Y Griega Beach, Nowhere provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness centre and a garden. We didn’t see that much animals as other people wrote, but it’s still an amazing place to be - the jungle view is awesome and the doms are so cozy, I just fall in love. The pool is very nice, they have a lovely yoga place (and mats) and it’s just nice wandering around and enjoy the nature. The breakfast ist fantastic! Cake, juice, eggs, fruits and avocado hummus toast …. Location is also good, it’s just a few minutes walk from the Main Street and you can get for 2$ p.P. By taxi to the town. But still so quiet there …

From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this hotel was something special. The staff greeted us with warmth and genuine smiles, instantly making us feel welcomed and valued. Their friendliness and eagerness to cater to our every need were unparalleled, making our stay not just comfortable but truly delightful. Dining here was an experience in itself. Despite being a bit away from the city's hustle, the hotel offered a gastronomic adventure that easily surpassed local tourist spots in Bocas Town, both in quality and price. Each dinner was a surprise with a different menu, showcasing a variety of delicious, well-crafted dishes that left us eagerly anticipating the next meal. The affordability of these gourmet experiences was the cherry on top, providing exceptional value for money. The hotel's design ingeniously balances social interaction and private tranquility. The communal areas invite engaging conversations with fellow travelers, creating a sense of community among guests. Simultaneously, numerous secluded nooks offer peaceful sanctuaries for those moments when you just want to lose yourself in a good book by the beach. Divers Paradise Boutique Hotel features a terrace, bar and on-site dining in Bocas Town. With free WiFi, this hotel offers a 24-hour front desk. Guests can enjoy sea views. Everything ! Location was great to everything else in town. It was right by the ocean. The restaurant was great. The staff was super amazing and always smiling and looking to help even if we weren't paying customers at the restaurant, They had free beverages. They stocked by beer in their fridge. They allowed us to store our luggage for half a day after we had already checked out of the hotel. Just exceeded expectations whole heartedly. I have never seen any hotel do that for me ! Situated within a few steps of Istmito and less than 1 km of Y Griega Beach, Santuarios del Mar provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Bocas del Toro. Perfect location just at the edge of town, within walking distance or a quick $1 cab. Morning coffee on the dock overlooking the ocean was beautiful, our apartment was spacious and bed very comfortable, AC in every room and a gorgeous view of Saigon Bay.
