Providing river views, Sunrise of Tambopata in Puerto Maldonado provides accommodation, a garden, a shared lounge, a restaurant and a bar. Emanuel and his family ( including their parrot Antonia) were wonderful and helpful, the bungalows are clean, the setting by the river is great with many sound effects from various birds and other animals and chicken in the morning. Emanuel's cooking was very tasty. Very enjoyable stay.

Enai is located in the forest, on the shore of the Madre de Dios River, 15 minutes from the city of Puerto Maldonado. Enai has a restaurant, outdoor pool, bar and garden. All in all perfect experience. We loved the tours they offered. Excellent food.

Featuring a vegetarian restaurant, Kapievi Ecovillage offers accommodations in Puerto Maldonado. The property is a 15-minute car ride from the city's main square. We stayed 3 nights after spending time in a tambopata river lodge. Kapievi is a wonderful peaceful place with delicious food and quiet isolated rooms in a tropical setting.The pool is very welcome in the jungle heat. We had the inhouse vegetarian 3 course meal twice (different menu). The meals are beautifully presented, good portions and delicious. The staff were also very helpful arranging transport into the center of Puerto Maldonado. The location is on the outskirts of Puerto Maldonado so a taxi is necessary to and from. It's not walkable.

Refugio Chabelita Hostel is situated in Puerto Maldonado. There is an outdoor fireplace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. If you want to know what good hospitality means. Book here. The family is super friendly. Different and good local breakfast every day. They gave us a short tour in the surrounding jungle the for free. The family is new in the tourism business but do a great job. There might be some smaller constructions during daytime as they are expanding to make the stay even more comfortable.

Situated in Puerto Maldonado, Posada Casa Bonita offers accommodation with a private pool, a balcony and garden views. Great place to chill for a few days. All rooms are equpipped with fan and AC and private bathroom and fridge. Clean place all over. Theres a bar, a beautiful pool and the host is fantastic and very friendly. Even took us out to buy some food anf other stuff. Helped us with everything. This place wilk make you chill out. Its worth it. There is harldy anything bad we can mention.

Hotel Inambari Golden is located in Chiforongo. Featuring a garden, the 2-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom.

Situated in Puerto Maldonado, CHOMI HOUSE TAMBOPATA offers a bar. This holiday home has a garden and free private parking. Elmer and his family, the owners, are lovely. We really felt welcome and looked after like special guests. They own a basic but lovely log cabin with a pool on their property. We stayed there one night before doing our 3 days trip into the Amazon and it was perfect. They did provide local breakfast as part of the room fees and a lovely dinner at a reasonable price.

ROSA'S HOUSE is set in Puerto Maldonado and offers barbecue facilities and a shared lounge. This guest house offers free private parking and a shared kitchen. I really enjoyed my two-weeks stay at Rosa's house ! :D Rosa and Elvis are beautiful people, very kind and friendly ! Kira and Kuka, the two dogs, are very friendly and affectionate too ^^ It's a peaceful place, surrounded by nature, the perfect location to relax, rest and meditate or going on adventures in the jungle. Rosa's house is at walking distance from the centre of Puerto Maldonado (about 1 hour) but if you don't want to walk, you can take a tuktuk or a mototaxi passing by. I highly recommend this place !

Don Jaime - Hostel has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Puerto Maldonado. There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service. We loved our stay here - the business was family run and everyone was so friendly. They helped us with everything we needed! We’d especially recommend the night tour as the guide was very knowledgeable on all the wildlife and we saw a lot of really cool things. Thank you Don Jaime!

The property was located inside a beautiful wild landscape. It is next to the river surrounded by beautiful tall trees. You can easily spot some exotic birds on the porch overseeing the river. At night be ready to be ready to encounter monkeys and sloths hanging around near the property!
