I spent a magical few weeks at Fare Vahine Oviri in December 2024. The host (Johnny) and his wonderful parents (Nuie Nuie and Claude) immersed me in French Polynesian culture which has left a strong and lasting impression on me. The self contained facilities in the villa were very good. The villa is situated at the water's edge. It was so easy to engage in snorkelling and swimming. I was even invited to partake in a community group canoeing practice session which was memorable. The villa is situated approximately 13km from the centre of the town, in a quiet location near the botanical gardens. There are lots of additional activities available which can be arranged or advise sought by Johnny. Can't wait to return.

Faré Mahi Mahi is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in Uturoa, where guests can make the most of its infinity pool and garden. Stunning location,views and hospitality! Host are wonderful people and went beyond in caring for our stay. Will definitely stay again.

Raiatea sur Mer has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Opoa. Beyond expectations. Quiet, spacious and very comfortable bungalow. Direct access to the water, where swim, snorkeling and kayaking just await! Everything is well thought, both functional and "solid". The hosts are very generous with their food, boating, and hospitality in general, including planning trips and such. You need a vehicle (or can rent theirs). I had rented a scooter in town and enjoyed this particular corner of the island.

La Maison Du Voyage is a recently renovated holiday home in Tevaitoa, where guests can makes the most of its pool with a view, open-air bath and garden. Breakfast was amazing. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming.

Raiatea Lodge Hotel offers air-conditioned rooms, each with a large terrace overlooking the lagoon. The bar and restaurant look out onto the swimming pool and serves Tahitian and international... The staff at Raiatea Lodge are so beautiful and made our last stop in Polynesia even more beautiful. Location and cleanliness were perfect. Delicious food and drinks, beautiful pontoon to swim and snorkel from right outside. Would highly recommend and hope to come back some day.

Fare Oviri Lodge is a recently renovated apartment in Opoa, where guests can make the most of its private beach area and garden. The rooms were excellent! The woodwork was amazing throughout the entire facility.

Amazing house and a very kind owner. Huge patio, washing machine, very well equipped kitchen, working AC in every room, newly renovated. Highly recommend!
