The island feels very safe and secure with a lovely walking track to get some exercise as well as an outdoor gym. Having diving onsite was a real bonus. The transfer and ferry were pretty easy (the transfer was a little late but got sorted in the end) The staff, particularly Paul and Beverly in the restaurant were easy to deal with and quite helpful. Pool and surrounds pretty decent too. The room was comfortable and pleasant to stay in.

Located in central Port Moresby, Grand Papua Hotel offers a day spa, 2 restaurants, 2 bars and a swimming pool. All accommodation boasts sea views from a private balcony. Absolutely recommended. Great price for a luxurious hotel. The personnel were very kind, always smiling and willing to help. The airport pickup is very much appreciated, they waited for me (even though it took a longer time to get my luggage) and took me to the hotel despite my early morning arrival. I was very glad I didn't have to wait at the airport!
