The resort is nice, common areas and bathrooms are very clean, food is great. Management is cordial and accomodating.

Our room was great! We would have almost slept with our heads on the beach with the terrace open if the rain/wind hadn't disturbed us every morning. Thanks for the hospitality! The owners helped us a lot with our onward journey. Even when we came back because we had an emergency, everyone was very helpful. Snorkeling was great - unfortunately only at high tide. Low tide is a bit annoying, but you sit on the beach and eat/drink your way through the menu :-) We can recommend a trip to the lake and waterfall. Unfortunately, we couldn't find any other beaches worth mentioning nearby. Probably a day trip to Apo Island would be OK - not too far from Kookoos Nest. Our offseason conclusion: Rooms/huts perfect, food perfect, beach/snorkeling perfect (if weather/water is right), people/stuff friendly!

This resort provides everything a guest needs for vocation and diving. The staff is super friendly and the environment is beautiful: bungalows, trees, lawn, and swimming pool. The fitness center and the restaurant are my favorite. The fitness center is spacious and has nearly all the equipments a professional gym offers. The restaurant offers both delicious Philippine and international cuisines at reasonable price. A review cannot be complete without mentioning the sea explorers, a PADI five star diving center located inside the resort. Many thanks to dive master Damron for his patient and professional instructions. Attending the scuba diving course at sea explorers is an unforgotten experience for me.

Unlike most Booking stays, you have a whole house with a garden, porch living room, dining room and kitchen. The toilet and bath are separate. There is a full size ref and a gas range to cook. It is a walking distance from the wet market and the beach. You can also bring a motorbike and park it in the property. Wifi was fast and good enough for my remote work. The host and staff were very helpful. They also provided new beddings and towels in the middle of our stay. Loved the thoughtfulness of the free stuff like coffee and biscuits. Will definitely come back here when I visit Dauin again.
