Staying at Casa Dona Antonia was like stepping into a medieval dream. From the moment we arrived in the magical hilltop village of Monsaraz, we were completely enchanted. The sunsets here are the most breathtaking we’ve ever seen ,paired with local wine, fresh bread, olive oil, and the warm hospitality of the people, it was perfection. The lemon tree garden, the peaceful pool, and the endless views across the Alentejo landscape are memories we’ll cherish forever. A special thank you to Sr. Carlos for the heartfelt welcome and the delicious homemade breakfasts , they truly made us feel at home. We’re heading back to London with our hearts full of saudades already. We’re definitely coming back, and I honestly couldn’t recommend Casa Dona Antonia more!

Octant Évora delivered a true 5-star experience from the moment we parked until we left. The hospitality stood out right away, every staff member was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. We enjoyed both the dinner and the breakfast buffet, and every dish tasted fresh, flavorful, and rooted in Alentejo's traditions. Our spa massage was another highlight, fully relaxing and beautifully done. The entire property felt carefully designed to inspire calm, with elegant amenities and thoughtful touches everywhere. What made the stay unforgettable, though, were the small moments: walking along the wooden viewpoints by the lake, savoring the peaceful landscape, and exploring the "Horta do Chefe" where we met baby goats and other animals. It felt like being connected to nature without giving up any comfort. Octant Évora captures the soul of Alentejo: slow, warm, delicious, and full of life. I can't wait to come back in the summer and enjoy it all over again, this time with even more sun, pool time, and long walks by the water :)

Amazing location right next to the beach in the heart of town. Very easy to keep walk out and get food and drinks. Incredible beach ride on the doorstep with the amazing view from the room. Fantastic pool area. Great spot for families. Spotless and well maintained pool area.

Hostel Nature ligger i Zambujeira do Mar, 3 minutters gange fra Zambujeira do Mar strand. Her bor du med utsikt over byen. Everything was fantastic. The warmest welcome I have ever had, a very friendly calm space. Visited in December, the cosy fire in the living room was a delight. Free washing machine with detergent. Clean kitchen/fridge, lots of utensils/pots and pans etc. Also condiments left from other guests. This little haven will exceed any expectation you may have!

The staff are kind and always helpful. Breakfast is tasty and offers a good variety. Overall, a great place to stay in Evora and highly recommended.

Offering free WiFi access and a flat-screen TV in each private room, Alojamentos Vitinho - Vila Nova Milfontes is located in Vila Nova de Milfontes, 800 metres from the centre. Amazing stay, rooms are very cozy and the beds are super comfortable. Location is great, you can walk anywhere. The staff, however, is absolutely the best: both Anne and Vítor were super considerate and helpful, our car broke down 5 minutes away on arrival and they both gave us rides on different days, Vítor even went around with us to several car shops trying to find us a fix. We'll definitely be back!
