The 24 hrs access to the hot spring pools was fantastic. We had the pools to ourselves after 5 pm. We ate sushi one night and it was delicious. Parking was easy and convenient. They allowed us to keep our entrance to gardens and hot spring after check out and even gave us a new robe and towels.

Situated in Ponta Delgada, 10 km from Pico do Carvao, Lusitano Garden Villas features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness centre and a garden. This accommodation was just perfect. The people working here were so friendly and helpful, this hotel was so beautiful, the room was super clean spacious, and even though you are really close to the highway, all you could hear were the birds singing. We could use the jacuzzi for free and there was even a sauna you could use. We only stayed for one night but it was the perfect last day for us in the Azores. Breakfast was also very nice, a lot of options. We could take a look at the horses of the owner. And wow what a beautiful place for the horses! Sadly we did not got time to take a lesson.

Located within a few steps of Praia do Monte Verde and 18 km of Lagoa do Congro, Moinho da Areia provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Ribeira Grande. The property was in an amazing location right on the beach, it was so comfortable and spotless and lovely and quiet. Christina and Sofia were so helpful with any questions we had and recommendations and made us feel incredibly welcome. The breakfasts were delicious.
