This hotel is fantastic. The staff is incredibly friendly! After we checked out, we did a hike to the Bisoke. It was super muddy that day, so I was super dirty when returning from the hike. As I needed to head back to Kigali on the same day, I phoned the hotel and asked if I could take a quick shower, and they accepted immediately!

The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the overall environment was calm and enjoyable. From check-in to check-out, the experience was smooth and professional. I highly recommend Uragano Virunga Palace to anyone visiting Musanze or Volcanoes National Park. I will definitely be happy to stay here again.

I stayed in a safari tent and it is SO beautiful. I could have stayed for days. Very warm and clean. The guys who own and run it are actually Rwandan locals, as opposed to rich foreigners everywhere else so it’s really great to be able to support local businesses. A super nice young guy who has built it up from just some small tents to what it is today. Amazing value, wonderful warm and friendly service and super comfortable. The photos online do not do it justice.
