The historic Margretetorps Gästgifvaregård is located by Hallandsåsen mountain ridge, a 10-minute drive from Ängelholm city centre. The grounds and hotel are a lovely mix of charming and contemporary but in keeping with the original buildings. I have never seen a hotel room with such attention to detail… hooks… robes… lighting etc. The beds were unbelievably comfortable and if I lived here would order one. This hotel was one of our favourite places during our 2 weeks in Sweden. Would absolutely stay here again!

The guest house was very nice, clean and better than expected. There was everything in the house that we needed. The area around was also nice and peaceful.

Our hosts were very kind and made us feel at home within minutes upon our arrival. Even their dog and two cats were really welcoming. :) The holiday home is absolutely gorgeous and has a beautifully decorated interior. Everything is nice and clean. Especially the kitchen and dining area are awesome. We did not miss a thing. As a special treat, there were a nice swimming pool and also a barbecue in the garden that we were allowed to use. Probably the best apartment I've ever been to. If you are thinking about booking it, do it now. It looks exactly like on the pictures, it's very spacious and spotless clean. There is parking out front and even a little garden area. Also there are all the kitchen appliances you could ever need, even an air frier. I also liked the personal extras, such as little marshmallows for your coffee, or different type of towels or a huge selection of pillows. Communication with the host easy and fast.
