I Bani, 23 kilometer fra Fathala Wildlife naturreservat og 49 kilometer fra Niumi National Park, ligger La Teranga Toubacouta. Absolutely loved La Teranga. Ibou could not have been more helpful and his communication is excellent. The chef is outstanding, the room spotless and the security man always around. A wide selection of trips are available. The village is local and the people are very friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend a visit to anyone wanting an adventure in this fabulous part of Senegal.

She made us feel so at home that we are now considering moving to Toubacouta. The food, the room, the excursions - everything was made to suit us and every little detail was so thoughtful. What this wonderful couple don’t mention on their page is that they run a local NGO, helping the community through various ways. We plan to be back asap!

I Toubakouta ligger B & B Mariamacounda, som har en restaurant, bar, en hage, en turskranke, helårsåpent utendørsbasseng og terrasse. Boenhetene har utsikt over bassenget. We really liked the B&B in general but were especially impressed with the excursions that were offered. David gave us a guided boat tour where we visited the small nearby island towns of Sipo and Missirah and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Jenny was also very helpful with the logistics (especially because I don't speak French!) and helping me organise our time in Senegal. El Hadj is their taxi driver and we organised pretty much our whole trip throughout Senegal with him - he was fantastic. And there are a few restaurants nearby with delicious food. The breakfast offered at the B&B was delicious. Thank you!

Offering an outdoor pool and a spa including a wellness centre, Les Palétuviers is located in Subikouroto. Free Wi-Fi access is available. Location of the hotel is superb, right in the middle of the delta Saloum, surrounded by the mangrove trees. The hotel has a magnificent view on the lake and the stay in the tree house was another adventure on its own.

We stayed at Toubacouta Lodge 4 nights insted of 3 because we loved the site, the swimming pool and its breathingless view, the food and the excursions we did on the delta river and the Fathala Reserve safari.Thank you to Ibou and his team. Their kindness and availability to respond to any request from us were impressive.No words to explain how nice they where and how quite and relaxing the Toubacouta is!
