Set in Kanchanaburi, 400 metres from The Jeath War Museum, บ้านใต้ชุกโดน BaantaiChukadon guest house offers accommodation with free bikes, free private parking and a terrace. We loved everything about the room and bathroom. Bed was comfy, it was quiet and easy walking to places. We took a Grab, 80 BHat to Cinnamon restaurant and walked from there to the Bridge over the River Kwai. We then took a Grab to the Sky Hostel on the river and walked along the river all the way back to the guest house. It was a perfect day.

BAAN APA ERAWAN Resort has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Ban Pong Pat. The location is unbelievable, right next to the river with a balcony overlooking it. The staff also brought the food to us so that we could have dinner and breakfast outside on the terrace, which we absolutely loved. The resort also offers you free use of their kayaks, which we thoroughly enjoyed after breakfast, paddling down the river right off the dock next to our room. The room was lovely too, very big and with a comfortable bed. Finally, the owner is lovely, very friendly and helpful, it was easy to communicate with her as she was always available to contact through WhatsApp.

Situated in Sai Yok, 24 km from Hellfire Pass Museum, La Levée Resort features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. We loved our stay at La Levee Resort. The views across a beautiful bend in the river with a backdrop of farmers fields and craggy mountain peaks were absolutely stunning. The grounds were beautifully landscaped, and the pool was gorgeous. Our room was well-appointed, spacious and comfortable. Even though it is a tent, it was very clean and kept cool by the AC. The included breakfast was very good and freshly prepared, and the on-site restaurant had delicious food at reasonable prices. We loved having all of our meals on the deck overlooking the river. There were fun activities included in the price that our family really enjoyed. These included a 30 minute ATV ride, a zip-line, wall climbing, and archery. The location was great. It felt quiet and remote, but there was plenty to do just a short drive away. If you would like to explore the surrounding area, it is very helpful to have a car. All of the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back!

Great hotel ! the most kid friendly I've seen, with many equipments, games etc. No breakfast but the 7/11 is 2 min away and the garden is perfect to have breakfast.

Featuring river views, Sittisang Heritage House 1920 offers accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 600 metres from The Jeath War Museum. Two bedroom apartment is super comfortable and in a quiet section of town. It is the only apartment at the “hotel” and it is on the second floor, above the owner’s lovely cafe. Cafe closes at 5pm so it is very quiet. Breakfast at the cafe is excellent and their coffee is some of the best we’ve had on our entire trip. There is a spiral staircase that leads to the apartment and the stairs continue up to a view studded rooftop patio (where we hung out with some drinks more than once). We suggested to the host that some chairs, a table, and umbrella would be nice up there but even with no furniture, it’s a great spot above the apartment. It is a 4 minute walk to the river, the Sky Walk (which is worth going up on for a great view), and restaurants along the River Kwai. Saturday night market along the riverfront is excellent with more great food than you could ever eat. Additionally, there is an excellent massage shop two doors down from the apartment that we went to twice as they did very professional, focused, and intentional massages. It is called Caring Spa and Massage. Lastly, the host got us a driver (Jamon) who took us to Erawan Park and then to Bangkok at the end of our stay. Sweet and responsible guy.
