Located a short walk away from Chalok Baan Kao Bay, MAR24 Koh Tao Hotel features an outdoor pool and sun terrace. We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff took excellent care of us and made sure we felt welcome and comfortable at all times. The rooms were solid, clean, and well maintained. Having a private pool was a lovely bonus, and everything was well organized from start to finish. Overall, it was a great experience and we would definitely recommend this place.

Staying at Koh Tao Sunset Studios was an unforgettable experience. Mr Liam Liam who is in responsible for taking care of the guests is amazing and does his job very well. The island of Koh Tao is beautiful (probably the prettiest of the islands in the Gulf of Thailand), in fact all the beaches are notable (except maybe the one closest to the property). Each beach is relatively easy to get to, but you can't do it without a scooter. It's best to have a scooter for your entire stay on the island - taxis are very expensive (unless you order through the aforementioned Mr Liam Liam :) ) The view from the flat is beautiful, I especially recommend enjoying it from the cool little pool in the terrace.

Set 300 metres from Mae Haad Beach, Blue Wave House offers 2-star accommodation in Koh Tao and features a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. Very conveniently located - minutes walking to the ferry pier, and close to restaurants/convenience stores too. As others mentioned, it's on a main road which you can hear, but it didn't bother me (and the hotel provides ear plugs if needed). The room is clean and comfortable, with AC, mini-fridge/freezer, shower, TV all working perfectly. There's some simple breakfast provided, as well as water bottles. Other thoughtful touches include tote bags and beach towels that you can borrow. Overall great value for money!
