This is a simple, no-frills guesthouse that is clean, comfortable, and 2 mins walk from the entrance of the central zone temples, as well as the only proper restaurants in Old Sukhothai. They can arrange tuktuk to New Sukhothai (Thani) Bus Terminal for 200 baht. Best of all, the place has a very clingy and sweet cat who will headbutt you and climb into your lap.

Big parking, even with many spaces with shadow. Great breakfast. Swimming pool open until 9 pm. Very nice staff.

Once you enter the compound, you feel like you’re being invited to stay with a local family! You’ll be well-looked after. They serve you breakfast daily and it’s not just a typical buffet style sitting on a long table for hours. The hosts will ask what time you’d like breakfast to be served, and on the dot, they will bring you a freshly cooked meal - soup, rice, meat, veg! Not many people’s idea of breakfast, but a lovingly prepared meal? I’m not complaining! If you’re lucky enough to score on of the bungalow units, you will have an entire verandah to yourself. But even if you didn’t manage to get one of the bungalows, the longhouse also has ample communal space for relaxation overlooking a small rice field.

Phu Thai Resort localiza-se na área de Mueang Kao, em Sukhothai, a 19 minutos a pé de Parque Histórico de Sukhotai. Very friendly staff. Drove me to the bus station on the day I left. Bed is super comfy. Little outside the oldtown but you can take the bycicles for free.

The hosts were absolutely amazing! They were always so friendly and helpful. The breakfast every morning was tasty. The room was a good size. The location is great - close to the night market and historical parks. They had bikes available to take around the city at no extra cost. Overall, I highly recommend staying here while visiting Sukhothai.

Baan Suk Resort was an absolute gem. The location strikes a perfect balance—peaceful and quiet, yet just a short drive to the historical park. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and genuinely welcoming throughout our stay. The lush garden added to the relaxing atmosphere, and the saltwater pool was the perfect retreat after exploring in the heat. Our room was spotless and comfortable. Breakfast was superb, with both Thai and Western options—something for everyone. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Lovely place with very comfortable bungalows, the food and the cocktails are very good. The staff is helpful and kindly, perfect clean and close to the river, 10 minutes to the historic park.
