Lukang Holiday Hostel, a property with a shared lounge, is situated in Lukang, 29 km from Daqing Station, 33 km from Taichung Railway Station, as well as 33 km from Fengjia Night Market. Location was great; it was close enough to Lukang's old streets that they were easy to get to but quieter than expected. The room I stayed in (late 2023) was essentially brand new (except the mini fridge). There were enough outlets I could charge all my devices. The windows were huge.

So it is a busy crowded street during the day but at night, after around 7.30-8.00pm, when all the shops & stalls closes, the street has gone totally quiet which gives a nice quiet evening and night. The shops & stalls open only around 10.00-10.30am in the morning so it does not disturb your sleep if you need to sleep late. The Owners are nice and helpful and they have helped in carrying our luggage to level 2 where our rooms are located. The size of the 2 king-beds room is very large.

The Inn was very convenient, and the host excellent. The decorations were fun, the lobby looks like entering a magical garden. The host went out of her way to make the stay comfortable. Bought groceries for the kitchen, made Dumplings and beef tongue cake for us. She was a fantastic host. Had the whole house to ourselves throughout the stay with free access to the kitchen
