Situated within 28 km of Wufeng Park and 35 km of Alishan Forest Railway, SunSweet House provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Fanlu. The breakfast was phenomenal with incredible views of the mountains. The rooms were clean, with some nice touches like slippers, Alishan tea, crackers, and water. The staff were very friendly and even treated us to a tea tasting!

The owner is very accommodating and she give a parking space. The bathroom is also very clean and big. Thank you so much boss, ❤️

Offering free bikes and city view, 郵系空間民宿 is situated in Zhuqi, 10 km from Wufeng Park and 12 km from Chiayi Park. It was very clean and well maintained. The bed was very clean and comfortable. The air conditioner was very strong and the TV had many channels. The host was very warm, welcoming, diligent, friendly, and helpful. There is a great night market and many stores nearby.

Offering a terrace and mountain view, Drizzle Tea House is set in Fenchihu, 37 km from Wufeng Park and 42 km from Chiayi Tower. Wonderful small guest house in the middle of a tea plantation. Very quiet, great view (also means: strolling around involves steep hills), wonderfull breakfast, and supportive and welcoming hosts who pic you up and bring you back to the bus stop or nearest station. Additional surprise was a Taiwanese tea ceremony that allowed for tasting of the homegrown tea. Would definitely stay again.

Offering a garden and mountain view, Hongpeng Coffee Station Homestay is set in Meishan, 5.8 km from Meishan Taiping Old Street and 24 km from Janfunsun Fancy World. The place is run by a family. The son helped us carry our luggages to the 2nd floor. The place has no elevator. Our room is huge with all the basic amenities. It's got a great view from the patio. On clear days one can view the sun rise there. Breakfast was delicious and healthy. It's about a 10 min drive from the Tai Ping sky ladder. There are no resturants close by, so grab your bento from the Tai Ping old street. Highly recommended.

Offering a garden and quiet street view, One Roll Stone Homestay is situated in Fanlu, 18 km from Chiayi Tower and 19 km from Lantan Reservoir. The host was the most amazing guy we have met on our trip, super lovely and kind! He stayed late to make sure we could check in and showed us everything despite us arriving really late. The room was fantastic as well, and there was lots to do. Would 100% come here again 💖

Located within 31 km of Jiao Lung Waterfall and 34 km of Alishan Forest Railway, Alishan Hinoki B&B offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Leye. Location. Nice decor, Japanese inspired. Nice sunrise on the rooftop. The bus from Chiayi left us in front of the property.

山旅民宿, a property with a shared lounge, is situated in Meishan, 5.6 km from Jiao Lung Waterfall, 29 km from Alishan Forest Railway, as well as 42 km from Hebaoshantonghua Park. The views were really nice and peaceful.

Situated in Alishan and only 24 km from Alishan Forest Railway, Sunrise Yunqi Teahouse features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The house was absolutely terrific in every aspect. Quiet, clean, big rooms, focus to details, lots of personal details in every room, breakfast and dinner was magnificent in taste and serving, not only tasty but delivery . The family who owns the house and several tea plantations in 3 rd generation were extremely friendly and helpful. Our expectations were exceeded by far and if I could give more than 10 points, I would do. We should have even considered to stay there for a few nights and commute every day to Alishan mountain on the top for 30 minutes.
