Boasting enchanting harbour views, Evergreen Laurel Hotel - Keelung sits beside Keelung Harbour and features a heated indoor swimming pool, sauna facilities and elegant dining options. It's quite out of our expectation in many aspects. We feel overall the service and conditions are better than the 5-star hotel we stayed in Taipei. The service of staff is very professional and also hearty. The high floor facing the harbour was a big plus. The room is very spacious with a wide sofa under a big window. The neighborhood is cleaner because the location is not at very downtown. Another bonus is the observation deck of the cruise terminal crossing the street. Enjoying the sunset over there was part of our favorite time in Keelung.

It was a quick one-night stop, but it had everything we needed. The kids loved the big tub in the bathroom. They also loved the huge Jenga game, the rocking horses, and the kayak in the hotel lobby, stopping for a game every time we passed by. The hotel offers parking, which we used, and a lovely store with some cool condiments and teas. Very good value for money.

Only steps away from the buzzing Miaokow Night Market, the homelike Hua Guo Hotel offers cosy guestrooms in a warm tone. Some fresh fruit would have been nice. Coffee was good.

There's a jacuzzi in the room, with its own TV which you can watch while you're soaking. In a little dish on one of the bedside tables there's a complimentary 3 pack of condoms, in case there are urgent matters to attend to and you forgot to bring your own. The room is very large, and so is it bed. The decor is posh. If you come in a car, there's a private parking bay with a roll down door to store it, with a private staircase for each parking bay. It's obviously to allow incognito ingress and egress. Breakfast was included, and it was an excellent Chinese version of it.

Some reviews said they had laundry facilities BUT THEY DO NOT HAVE ANY LAUNDRY FOR GUEST TO USE.
