I can not express how amazing the owners are! The rooms are in their home and they make you feel like you’ve become their children. They are so incredibly kind and helpful and welcoming! The rooms were extremely comfortable, even the shared bathroom is very nice. The location is top-notch too. It’s wayyy up in the mountains and the view from their roof over the mountains in the morning is….. I have no words to express it. Again just an awesome stay would definitely go back again!

We had a lovely stay! The owner is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious, with tatami mats and futons - we really liked the japanese style. There is a cafe, souvenir shop and free kimono rental. 3 min walk to the Old Street where you can find some yummy food. Highly recommend!

Guan ma is the sweetest!!! Honestly can't recommend this homestay enough! Guan ma prepared cherry tomatoes and biscuits when I arrived, and she was more than happy to chat with me about life in Taiwan and her family. Really felt like I came home to my grandma's place. When she found out I had to leave very early the next day, she helped me to call a taxi and offered to wake up extra early to cook me breakfast. The facilities are also pretty great, but there is no lift in the house and the room is on the 2nd floor, so you can leave your luggage on the first floor and just bring what you need upstairs (that's what i did). Hot water is hot enough and water pressure is great. The house is in a quiet neighbourhood and you can see lots of stars on a clear night. This place made my stay in Miaoli 10/10. Would definitely come back

Place is clean, cosy and serene. Feel relaxed as it's quiet and located next to a strawberry farm and lake. Host is friendly and welcoming. We stayed in the quadruple room and design is Japanese style and has all the necessities.

Nice comfortable bed and clean room. Check in was a bit awkward as we were arriving after 9pm. When we arrived nobody was at reception so we had to call them. The staff were very friendly once they arrived.
