It was like staying in harry potter castle. Photos looked gorgeous. Complementary afternoon high tea and mini bar and breakfast were great too. We had the tree house and it was really big, and the bathtub was amazing. All was great except for the slide and bugs.

Offering mountain views, 奕青民宿-梅酒 梅精 法國麵包plum winery guesthouse is an accommodation set in Shuili, 37 km from Xitou Nature Education Area and 49 km from Lotus Forest. The good rating is well deserved. Beautiful location, with hiking options nearby. The house is new, rooms (very) spatious, clean, beautiful wooden floors and furniture, great bathroom. During our stay, there was still some work underway around the house, so we can only imagine how this place will look like in the future. Ca. 100m down the road from the accommodation is the family-run plum winery itself, where you can sample (and buy to take home) some great local products. This is where the A+ breakfast is served. The hosts were friendly, very attentive and the kind of people you can really have a talk with. We would like to thank the whole family for our amazing stay. We have stayed in many accommodations during our trip, but this was certainly our favourite. We sadly planned only one night here, but will definitely be returning when we come back to Taiwan.

Providing mountain views, Baluo Baluo in Yuchi provides accommodation and a garden. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the homestay free of charge. We loved everything about this stay. A little out of town away from the crowds, this wonderful little hideaway was set amongst the trees and gave us the peace away from a city that we craved. Enjoy the walk, and embrace the overwhelming kindness of the lovely couple who host these rooms. A cross between a caravan and an Anderson shelter, the room was perfect. Snug, cosy, comfortable, fabulous shower. Breakfast was superb and catered wonderfully for our western tastes. We outdoor table and chairs and each morning out host would wipe off the damp dew. Adored this place and wish we could have stayed a little longer.
