After 3 months of traveling, UIJ is one of my favorite places I've stayed. The facilities were absolutely stunning, especially all of the well designed common spaces. I was visiting friends in Tainan and it was so wonderful to be able to grab food and dine together at one of the large tables or out on the deck. I stayed in both the dorm rooms and in a private room for one night and both were excellent. The dorm beds were spacious and each came with a large school-room style locker for valuables. Throughout the hotel, there were so many wonderful little touches like having soda water on tap and board games for communal use. Highly highly recommend a stay here!

A great hotel in all parameters. Big and specious room. Including two armchairs and a desk. Super comfy bed and strong water flow in the shower. It also provides free parking and the location is 20 min. walk from the night market which is great in itself.
