My room upstairs was small but nicely laid out and the bathroom was clean if somewhat small. Honestly the hostel far exceeded my expectations. He location was excellent; near lots of restaurants and a gather space for a small market-like open area with a fre musicians. I would stay there again and recommend it to family and friends. The staff was very friendly and helped me call a taxi among other things. The cafe had an excellent selection of coffees and teas but a very limited breakfast menu. However the food I had for breakfast was delicious and I ate at other places for other meals.

Very spacious rooms, comfortable bed, great shower. Very friendly and helpful staff who went above and beyond to resolve a booking problem I had via the booking.com website. Would highly recommend anyone travelling to Taitung to stay here!

Great and friendly staff, especially the young man who was very helpful and knowledgeable about the city. Definitely pick this if you like a mix of Japanese and Taiwanese culture. 9.5 score.
