Set within 2.2 km of Seaside Park Beach and 400 metres of Taitung Night Market, Norden Ruder Hostel Taitung Branch 2 offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Taitung City. Great place, very clean, located in the centre of the city and convenient to go explore the town. The shared space at the basement was big and enough facilities, there was laundry machine available too (paid). There's a cafe at the 1st floor of the building although i have not tried it.

Extremely comfy, clean and had everything you needed for a good stay. Staff was not present but not a problem for us. We could check in earlier which was very convenient and pleasant. Great and friendly staff, especially the young man who was very helpful and knowledgeable about the city. Definitely pick this if you like a mix of Japanese and Taiwanese culture. 9.5 score.

Situated just 2.9 km from Seaside Park Beach, Tai Dong Jin Kuai Homestay provides accommodation in Taitung City with access to free bikes, barbecue facilities, as well as a lift. Lovely accommodation, we had storage for our 7 e-bikes on level 2, great hang out room on this level also for our group. They provide free icecream, coffee, hot chocolate. Easy walk to get dinner that night. Breakfast voucher which we used on our 2nd morning there as wasn't open earlier enough to use on the 1st morning as we were going to catch the ferry. But we were able to combine the value of the voucher the 2nd morning. Would stay again.
