Set in Nungwi, 200 metres from Nungwi Beach, Canary Hotel & SPA offers accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a fitness centre and a garden. great service very helpful maybe because we were there in the rainy season so there were fewer visitors but in fact there were probably more receptionists and cleaners than people in the hotel, this resulted in a very complex factory even royal treatment of hotel visitors, staff very helpful my wife had a stomach ache on the last day they advised and gave medicines from the pharmacy in the price we received a massage, highly recommended Great brekfast 👌 Dagmara & Daniel

The facilities and staff were exceptional. Staff are friendly and very helpful. The facilities are well maintained and clean. Everything is done to perfection. Any special requests are completed with attention to detail. Peter was awesome and made the surprise romantic dinner I arranged in advance even more special with the way he assisted us through the evening. The entire Zanzibella team really make it a amazing experience from the moment you arrive and even after my departure they followed up to ensure I reached the airport safely and it didn't end there, they checked in when I landed back home to check if I arrived safely. Big shout out, to Peter, Maiko, Helen and Meshack. It was truly an amazing stay with the Hotel and Team for making our Honeymoon Perfect. Highly recommend anyone going to Zanzibar to go to Zanzibella.

Set in Paje, a few steps from Paje Beach, Zula Zanzibar offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a private beach area. This was my fave of three hotels I've stayed in Zanzibar. The hotel is gorgeous, on the beach and the restaurant had some of the best food we ate in the island. Also next to other restaurants you can go walking. Personally loved the attention to details. Even noticed my birthday on my id and prepared a surprise in the room.

The facilities are new and all is very clean. The staff is really nice and helpful, the food was good and the pool is great. For a family with kids we had all we needed including an in-house doctor and lab for tests to assist us when needed.

Our stay at Hostel 197 was really great. John, the young owner, has done an incredible job. We come from the hospitality industry ourselves, and we were genuinely impressed by the quality of the place he has created. Everything was well thought out, welcoming, and professionally run. Well done, and we totally recommend this place.

Compass Hostel in Nungwi provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. The nicest hostel I have had in a long time, but still very affordable. Super modern and beautiful facilities. Close to the beach, and a very affordable (but wirh awesome food) beach restaurant called Blue Sea close by. Beds are comfortable and wide, and each bed has its own little professionel safe. Very friendly staff. All in all - fantastic. This hostel is a good base to start snorkeling for corals and enjoy a calmer environment than you'd find e.g. in Stone Town.
