The facilities and staff were exceptional. Staff are friendly and very helpful. The facilities are well maintained and clean. Everything is done to perfection. Any special requests are completed with attention to detail. Peter was awesome and made the surprise romantic dinner I arranged in advance even more special with the way he assisted us through the evening. The entire Zanzibella team really make it a amazing experience from the moment you arrive and even after my departure they followed up to ensure I reached the airport safely and it didn't end there, they checked in when I landed back home to check if I arrived safely. Big shout out, to Peter, Maiko, Helen and Meshack. It was truly an amazing stay with the Hotel and Team for making our Honeymoon Perfect. Highly recommend anyone going to Zanzibar to go to Zanzibella.

Set in Paje, a few steps from Paje Beach, Zula Zanzibar offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a private beach area. This was our second stay at Zula House and it was every bit as wonderful as the first. This time it was also our honeymoon and we had a really beautiful stay. The staff are so amazing, especially Mary who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was everything we hoped for. We look forward to coming back again soon!

Babalao Bungalows has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Nungwi. We stayed at this lovely hotel in Zanzibar for 4 nights and 5 days, and it was a fantastic experience! The price is incredibly reasonable for the quality provided. The owner, Max, is warm and welcoming—before we even arrived, he messaged us with helpful details about our stay and restaurant recommendations around the area, which was a nice touch. Funnily enough, though, the food at the hotel was even better than most of the places nearby! The staff were so friendly and attentive, and the breakfast, included in the price, was amazing! Every day, the menu was different, which kept things interesting and avoided the monotony you often find at other hotels. The drinks and food were also reasonably priced, especially considering the quality. Food-wise, everything was delicious, and certainly better than many nearby spots with views. We tried the seafood pasta and shrimp coconut curry, and both were absolutely incredible. If I could give 10 stars out of 5, I would! Overall, our stay was wonderful, and I highly recommend this hotel 100%!

Compass Hostel in Nungwi provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. The nicest hostel I have had in a long time, but still very affordable. Super modern and beautiful facilities. Close to the beach, and a very affordable (but wirh awesome food) beach restaurant called Blue Sea close by. Beds are comfortable and wide, and each bed has its own little professionel safe. Very friendly staff. All in all - fantastic. This hostel is a good base to start snorkeling for corals and enjoy a calmer environment than you'd find e.g. in Stone Town.
