Staffs are all very friendly and helpful. AC is silent and efficient. Shampoo/Conditioner works well for repairing the hair after swimming in seas.

Set just 11 km from Kaloko-Honokohau National Historic Park, The Koi House with Pool offers accommodation in Kailua-Kona with access to an outdoor swimming pool, a shared lounge, as well as a shared... The property was clean and well maintained. It was in an ideal spot to explore the big island. We stayed in a room with a shared bathroom and it was never an issue! The host was great at communicating.

It’s so important to have proper communication when travelling and I had that with Arthur (the owner). He was quick to respond and there to help anyway he could. He was kind enough to talk about the area and take me on a tour, which I enjoyed immensely. The tiny home has everything you need and is very comfortable. There’s clean drinking water, an equipped kitchen, an outdoor barbecue and other essentials (like a mini portable washer, beach towels and over the shoulder mini cooler) … the home’s very clean and comfortable and even the resident geckos are super friendly! I found they put a lot of thought into little details inside the cottage. The night sky is unbelievably beautiful and you also have an ocean view in a quiet and safe neighbourhood…I’m looking forward to coming back!

Boasting garden views, The Red Cottage and Hawaiian Pond Garden Paradise! features accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 11 km from Lava Tree State Park. This is an amazing adventure unlike anywhere else we have stayed on the Big Island. The accommodations are rustic and private and make you feel like you are in a jungle setting. When the sun has set, take your glass of wine and sit at the counter in the open air kitchen. The wildlife sounds are captivating. Boasting garden views, Hoomaikai Blessings features accommodation with patio, around 12 km from Lava Tree State Park. A hot tub is available for guests. This was a fantastic stay at the property! The owner, Kelly made all possible effort to make it special - you can expect a great, heart warming welcoming and fantastic experience during your stay. It starts with small snacks, hotel size diapers like body wash or lotion etc. so you almost do not need anything for your stay until a wonderful breakfasts we have got. There is no better way to start a day but with tasty home made breakfast and coffee with freshly (daily!) made muffins! As Kelly noticed that we prefer cappuccino she brought her own coffee machine to make us one. She even has a plan to change the back garden and add jacuzzi so watch the space. Huge thanks for a great stay Kelly and see you again during our trip to Hilo!

Located within 13 km of Lava Tree State Park and 17 km of Lava Tree State Monument, Wild Blue Water provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Pahoa. Absolutely excellent! The property is spacious, beautifully maintained, and offers everything you need for a perfect stay. The rooms were spotless, and all the amenities were top-notch. The hospitality was outstanding—warm, welcoming, and truly made our stay special. Highly recommend and would love to return!
