The setting is really lovely, a mini forest in Poughkeepsie. The hotel is exquisitely designed and furnished, with generous rooms and beautiful fittings, selective but not pretentious. The Snug Room is gorgeous! Breakfast was robust and really good, made of healthy, high quality ingredients. The staff were great too! A really wonderful hotel, exceeding all expectations.

The room was immaculate, cozy, and very smartly appointed. Very comfortable and nice to have a small sofa. Bathroom was a good size and had plenty of towels. Didn't feel cramped at all. We'd book at Home2again!!

The staff were very friendly and attentive and our room had stunning views. We loved going out walking during the day and then reading our books in the afternoon while it snowed outside. The restaurant in the hotel has amazing food.

Lovely, spacious and quiet room, comfortable bed, and nice touch with record player. Lovely staff and great coffee in reception area. Walking distance to restaurants.

Loved the hip decor of the interior of the rooms. We were in the JImi so had a sweet poster of Jimi Hendrix looking at us..:) Some other cool surprisess like the Dylan flower and turntable with albums. LOVED the wallpaper too. Nice bathroom and bath products. Best part of the hotel is the sweet lobby. I was greeted by four of the most adorable Icelandic dogs you've ever seen. They greeted be with lovin' immediately. :) And, yes the staff were unbelievably nice and accomodating. Brandon made me feel instantly comfortable. I will definitely be going back to the Dylan again in the very near future.

I highly recommend Twin Gables and as I visit Woodstock regularly from UK, in order to see my son and his family, I will be making the guest house my place to stay in future for sure.
