Liked the snacks that were left to enjoy.

The place is a dream, a cosy house, filled with love and care, and Susan is without a doubt the best host we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting - kind, caring and a delight to talk to over breakfast. We’ll definitely come again if we’re ever in the neighbourhood.

Unforgettable view and impeccable comfort. We loved the food at the on-site restaurant. Every meal was a delicious journey through Southwestern flavors and traditional Navajo dishes, all served with a side of spectacular valley views. The staff deserve a special mention for their professionalism; every interaction was polite, respectful, and genuinely welcoming. Their attentive service significantly enhanced our overall experience. We were surprised to discover the lodge's rich and fascinating history, which is inextricably linked to Monument Valley's legacy in classic Western films. What began as a trading post has evolved into this incredible property. The most meaningful part of our stay, however, was learning that the lodge is proudly managed and operated by the Navajo Nation. This authentic connection to the land and its people ensures the entire operation is culturally respectful and supports the local community. It provides a unique opportunity for guests to experience the true spirit of Navajo hospitality. We were honestly surprised to see that Goulding's Lodge has a rating of around 4 stars on Google; in our opinion, it clearly deserves much higher recognition. The unique combination of a historic setting, stunning location, excellent service, and authentic Navajo management makes it the definitive place to stay in Monument Valley. We highly recommend Goulding's Lodge to any traveler looking for more than just a hotel—it’s a destination in itself.

Offering free Wi-Fi, this hotel is 40 minutes’ drive from Monument Valley. Each room features a flat-screen TV with cable channels. The room was so lovely, warming, cocooning. Lot of towel and perfect hygiene products. We loved having this private balcony with the incredible view. Also we loved the fact that the blinds was completely opacity which is a very important criteria for European people :)
