I stayed an extra day in the same city, but in a different hotel, and regretted it. The room was spacious with perfect Wi-Fi and a beautiful view of the rocks and mountains. It's a quiet, remote place to unwind after a busy day. There's a café on the premises that may not offer fancy fare, but you'll find satisfying options to eat. The prices are reasonable, and the quality is excellent. The room was preheated before our arrival, which was greatly appreciated as it was quite cold during the day. Additionally, there's unlimited hot water, coffee, and snacks available at the reception, which are perfect for taking with you before heading out for a hike. Special thanks for offering beer and wine through room service. In remote locations like Utah, it can sometimes be challenging to purchase alcohol.

Our stay at Goulding's Trading Post was truly delightful. We spent one night in a first-floor room that featured a lovely balcony with a breathtaking view. The room was impeccably clean and equipped with everything we needed, making our stay comfortable and hassle-free. One of the highlights was waking up early to watch the sunrise right from our balcony—a peaceful start to our day before we set out to explore the valley on our own. We were equally impressed by the staff. From the friendly and polite front desk team to the overall courteous service throughout the property, every interaction left a positive impression. Additionally, the property offers a wonderful array of amenities: a fascinating museum, a cozy cinema, a charming souvenir shop, and a restaurant that not only serves delicious Native American-inspired cuisine but also boasts excellent service and great prices. We highly recommend Goulding's Trading Post for anyone looking to enjoy a unique and memorable stay with a perfect blend of comfort, culture, and hospitality.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room at night was dark -- yes!, most hotels have light coming under the doors or windows.

Featuring an indoor heated pool, this motel is 40 minutes’ drive from Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park. Each room includes free WiFi. A continental breakfast is served daily. We liked everything about The Wetherill Inn. From the very friendly staff at check in to the laundry facilities, we were very happy we chose this motel for our one evening in Kayenta. The room was very clean, smelled fresh and it was so big we could have square danced in there. The beds were comfortable with enough pillows and blankets. The bathroom was a bit dated but it was clean as a whistle. The laundry area was tidy and well lit. Lots and lots of ice for our cooler. Check out was quick and pleasant. We even ended up buying our only souvenirs of the trip at their well stocked Gift Shop. Highly recommend this lovely motel!!
